K-12: Royal Rangers Outpost #174

Royal Rangers is a national program to meet the physical, spiritual, mental and social needs of boys and young men in grades Kindergarten through 12. The ultimate goal is to help the boys recognize and assume their places of leadership as responsible followers of Jesus Christ. Our motto is to "reach, teach and keep boys for Christ." We recognize that the boys we reach today will be the leaders of tomorrow.

The ministry motivates boys spiritually through Bible study, scripture memorization, and Christian role models. The boys are strengthened mentally by an advanced awards-based weekly program. Further, boys increase their physical skills by participation in age-specific activities and recreation. Finally, they are introduced to church, community, and nature-related activities to develop their social skills and awareness.

New Covenant Church offers the following Royal Rangers Programs:

Rangers Kids (Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades)
Discovery Rangers (3rd, 4th and 5th grades)
Adventure Rangers (6th, 7th and 8th grades)
Expedition Rangers (9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades)

A Royal Ranger is:

ALERT: He is mentally, physically and spiritually alert.
CLEAN: He is clean in body, mind and speech.
HONEST: He does not lie, cheat or steal.
COURAGEOUS: He is brave in spite of danger, criticism or threats.
LOYAL: He is faithful to his church, family, outpost and friends.
COURTEOUS: He is polite, kind and thoughtful.
OBEDIENT: He obeys his parents, leaders and those in authority.
SPIRITUAL: He prays, reads the Bible, and witnesses.
