Leadership

Stephen has been a part of New Covenant Church since December 1975. He graduated from high school and several years later, graduated from a Bible school in New York. Shortly after his return in 1999, he became Youth Pastor.  While at Bible school, he met Kim, his soon to be wife. They married in April  2000. Steve and Kim are raising four children from nine to seventeen years of age. Steve and Kim have served at New Covenant as youth and children’s pastor and discipleship pastor prior to becoming senior pastor in 2016.

Tyler has been a part of New Covenant Church since January 2006. Stephanie, his wife, has been a part of New Covenant since September of 2005. They married in February 2006. Tyler and Stephanie are raising six children, from six to sixteen years of age. Tyler and Stephanie came on staff as family pastor in 2016 after serving for many years with the New Covenant children’s ministry. Prior to assuming his position at New Covenant, he worked full-time as a contractor.

Phil and his wife Karen have been married since Feburary 2007 and are raising two sons. They have been a part of New Covenant Church since the fall of 2018.  Phil works full-time at Langley Air Force Base. Before coming to New Covenant Church, Phil helped plant Mission Church in Norfolk and served as an Elder there. He holds a Masters degree in Biblical Studies from Virginia Beach Theological Seminary. Phil  is passionate about building community
